Pros

The franklin center where the Chicago office is located has a great cafeteria and gym but I have nothing good to say about FIS.

Cons

Leadership is a joke, they have a culture of rotating people in and out and placing people on performance plans after one 6 months of service. NO FMLA, NO Flexible Work arrangements for people without an elderly relative to take care or a child to care for. Medical plans are sooo expensive too.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. At FIS, we value all of our employee’s voices which is why we deploy an annual, confidential survey that our employees are encouraged to share their candid thoughts on our organization and its leadership. Action planning from our most recent survey is underway and managers are currently reviewing their own results, and Leadership Effectiveness is one of three key focus areas across the enterprise. Also, new curriculum around Manager Excellence is being deployed in Q1 with additional resources for managers and we will re-survey in May. In terms of benefits, we’ve made several investments in recent years as we focus on employee wellbeing and increasing consumerism. These changes include a new parental leave policy, and other competitive health benefit packages. Current employees should speak with their manager or The People Office to understand what benefits are available, which does include FMLA in the U.S.
