Pros

You learn about the politics and how management works in a tech company and in a corporate setting.

Cons

Because you are not a full time employee with the client you work for, it can be confusing and sometimes the politics can drag you under. There are times you get conflicting instructions and directives, and you can find yourself in a position of limited power, doing all the work. However, that seems to be the case in a lot of middle management positions in the area.
