Pros
Opportunity to work flexible hours.
Cons
No manager's care at all. While presenting herself to higher level management as a great leader, our manager is not working anything at all. No right distribution of the work, too many protected members, no option to advance in a career, no interaction with the team member unless something needs to be done right away, without warning and caring if we planned our time differently or if it is middle of the night. I have to point that we all have flexible working hours which is great but then we're used to planning our other activities accordingly, and not able to be available 24/7 for requests that might come in once per month. If we do not answer and start working on any of tasks immediately (regardless of our knowledge about the given assignment or any help from her side), we're getting out of her mercy and stop being included at all, also without explanation, just plain passive-aggressive approach. I am here so long, and our quarterly reviews are done just to be done. We fill the form but never get the feedback. When you are in the situation to work with any other department, everything is great and the culture seems to be on the highest level in all other teams. Such a shame to have to be in the worst part of the company. I am here hoping to be transferred to another department because the company is really amazing. If you have the option to work on another team, just go for it.
