Pros

The Equifax Dublin office is a really nice place to work. There are many friendly and helpful people in the office. The facilities, work-life balance, benefits, training and development opportunities, culture and management are all the most positive things about working there.

Cons

The office grew very rapidly, faster than the work for them to do could be accumulated, so many people are idle and bored. Pay could be more competitive.

Equifax Response

You are right! Our Dublin office is fantastic and offers great support to all employees - it's truly a great culture! We also appreciate your insight into some of the concerns that happens with rapid growth and are working to develop a new development plan with our managers to increase 1:1 conversations and to ensure more frequent feedback conversations. Look for more information on this new program in January 2019.

Pros

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Cons

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
