As so many others have written here, C-suite management and managers of individual contributors have no clue what they are doing. Prioritization is given to $'s being posted each month/quarter, meanwhile processes are thrown to the wayside.
Benefits have gotten cut and trimmed each year. PTO does not carry over. Salary is non-negotiable for all individual contributors.
Nepotism and office politics are huge factors here. Droves of good employees have left the company in the past 3 years, meanwhile some of the worst employees have gotten promoted into director positions (and higher).
Hybrid-work-model is non-negotiable regardless of how well you/your team function remotely.
The company loves shouting how inclusive they are of diverse workers, but the talent they push forward with this thought process is always under qualified.
