Pros

At first it seems to be a great place to work. The company seems to be performing very well with a lot of growth. It seems that there is a lot of opportunity of career development.

Cons

Merger of Nalco and Champion business increases overall profitability. However, the workload is still the same as there is not much growth in the oilfield sector. Lack of career advancement due to too few product lines. Lack of accountability for projects. Projects are only given to staff who have worked more than 3 years with the company. Disgusting team mates who goes all out to outcast new members because of job insecurity. Management do not value people who put in effort in their work. Office politics is highly intense. Absolute dishonesty of leadership when faced with being in the wrong, or when faced with any type of difficult situation. Cover up their mistake to protect their bonuses.

Pros

The actual coworkers and team members are great. Everyone is super supportive and just trying to help each other out.

Cons

Management: There’s a huge disconnect between upper leadership and the people doing the day-to-day work. Goals and priorities change constantly with very little communication, and it often feels like micromanagement takes the place of actual guidance. Work-Life Balance: The workload is completely unsustainable. You’re expected to handle an overwhelming amount of work, but you aren't given the resources or staffing to actually get it done without burning out. Expecting people to constantly work over their hours has become the norm. Lack of Growth: Career progression is pretty much non-existent. Promises of promotions or career development are thrown around, but they rarely actually happen. There’s no clear pathway to move up, so it’s easy to feel stuck and stagnant.
