Pros

Learning new processes( as you have to pretty much be able to run the store by yourself at all times, since they never schedule anyone with you), weekly paycheck, decent starting pay

Cons

Store managers can get away with leaving early every single day and calling you in to take their place. Store manager can make you close the store 6 out of 7 nights a week, sometimes even calling you in on your only night off to close just so she can go home instead. Store manager can retaliate against you for a call to corporate on them that YOU didn't even make.. so then you quit and try to make an alternative dispute ticket? They will make it take 3+ weeks to over a month before they even play phone tag with you and make it impossible to actually talk to someone. Still waiting, as my store manager marked me ineligible for rehire when she learned I quit her store and was in the process of getting hired at another location. Only district manager can help fix it, but of course he doesn't respond even though I kept communicating with him and another store manager throughout my struggles with the Manager/company. I worked 40+ hours trying to be a good employee but my narcissistic, self absorbed store manager ruined the whole experience/, environment for me.

Pros

You have an opportunity to create good good relationships with your customers.

Cons

There is no work life balance. If you’re a store manager you’re expected to be there 24/7 if necessary. You’re also salary, so you’re paid for a flat 40 hours but required to schedule yourself for a minimum of 48 hours. No holiday pay, no overtime. You have access to two types of bonuses but they’re IF you qualify for them. You get little to no support from upper management and constantly told you’re not doing enough. They don’t care if you’re having staffing issues and still expect you to get the truck completely worked in 2 days and the store to be 100% recovered daily, even if you’re alone. Then they’ll either look for ways to write you up to terminate you or push you until you quit.
