      Pros

      Excellent 401K plan: After 1 year employees are matched dollar for dollar up to 13%, AND employees are fully vested after 1 year. Health Insurace after 30 days: health care and dental is even offered to part time employees. A less expensive plan is offered after 6 months. Flexable scheduling. Dollar General currently has special grants for Disaster assistance and grants for college.

      Open on most holidays, working 6 days per week

      Pros

      None. This is the worst company I've ever worked for. The pay is not commeasurate with the amount of work that you were expected to do. Dollar General runs their stores on skeleton crews and each person is expected to do the work of 3 to four people.

      Cons

      Everything. From dealing with incredibly rude customers, to the pay, to the workload and everything in between. Again, this is the worst company that I have ever worked for and I've definitely had my fair share of jobs in my lifetime.
