Pros
It's a job. In the current economic climate I should be happy to have one.
Cons
Pay, or lack thereof. This company does not pay squat to its managers or any associate. For what they expect out of their employees, the compensation is not justified. By paying such low wages, they get what they pay for in performance. Anyone who goes above and beyond what they're expected to do is crazy. Managers are basically required to work 6 days a week because of certain things that only managers are required to do. Each thing happens on certain days. There is not enough help to successfully run the stores. Many times only one person is on duty. As people get raises, which is almost never, it cuts back on the hours because it's all based on dollars. If a store manager makes top pay, there's no hours for the employees, so who has to pick up the slack ???....oh yeah, the manager! There's no incentive for growth at all. Once you reach top pay (which is based on the store's sales volume) that's it. Any bonuses are just a drop in the bucket and don't mean a thing. There are other better-paying jobs out there. I'm gonna find one!
