Pros

Good perks and benefits if you enjoy Thursday nights at the bar with good drinks and beautiful models. Luckily for me, this is a boy's club. By miles a company that is fun to work for in technology since there is no leadership with clear and measurable targets. In the 5+ years I have been with the company doing supply and IT project delivery, I've survived failing projects and disastrous budgeting plans. You build strategic alliances and a strong attitude and people will respect you and leave you alone. Very short commute from my home in Norwalk is a plus!

Cons

It's amazing the wasted capital placed into disastrous global Diageo business services. Management goes on events and social spending using corporate funds while funding is cut for good projects. Our department had 5 expatriate employees within the past 2 years. Budgeting 500k each plus benefits on a company looking to cut spending. 1 expatriate quit after 4 months due to the lock of viable guidance by management.

Pros

Pay & Benefits are wonderful

Cons

Unrealistic expectations towards employees Insurance benefits *Managers* are composed of front-line production leads and those who may oversee or supervise.* The work-life balance is severely lacking, and there are biased managers who add negative connotations to peers' actions without any solid evidence or knowledge. Furthermore, these managers often lack technical expertise regarding machinery and engage in excessive micromanagement of employees. The workplace lacks diversity as defined, and the hiring representatives are typically the same floor leads that micromanage peers creating unfair hiring process at Diageo. Many individuals who have encountered the corrupt practices lead reps in previous jobs are frequently denied opportunities.
