Pros
- Great culture - Young colleagues - Autonomy - Profit sharing (Usually capped) - Supply Department Manager/Leader is supportive and understanding.
Cons
- Extremely poor benefit package. No 13th month bonus (AWS) and even if there's profit sharing, it is usually capped at 1 month of your salary. - Some of the TEAM leaders are awfully biased and unprofessional. Without fail, you'll see them gossiping every morning and discussing employees, or any issues in the firm. It's quite a toxic behaviour. - Some leaders are extremely condescending, and will talk down to you. They tend to treat the non-locals better than the locals, even if they don't live up to their expectations/requirements. - Some (minority) team leaders are extremely toxic and unprofessional. You do NOT want to work for them. They're not supportive, they have very frequent mood swings, they don't treat you with respect, they talk down to you & they don't walk the talk, They're essentially unfit and unbecoming of a leader. - The firm harps on human capital but their actions do NOT prioritise human capital. They insist on hiring internally for HR roles but they fail to realise that HR is a specialisation that requirements foresight and long-term strategy. You can't simply have any Tom, Dlck or Harry to take on HR roles and expect to take good care of your employees. - Salary/Compensation packages are NOT competitive. At some point, you WILL have to take on Side Missions and if you don't, you're less likely to see an increment in your salary. Although they've revised the package recently, it doesn't seem like it is on par with the market.
