The amount of stress you are under is obscene. I have been in retail management for a long time and this job is BY FAR the most stressful. There is little to no support from the corporate team though they tell you they are there to support you 100%. I wonder if they aren't actively trying to make things worse sometimes. There are new programs popping up all over the place that they haven't properly tested so there are so many issues that it makes your job nearly impossible. You are also punished if you are under payroll hours which is pretty much the opposite of ever retail organization. I really wish I would have thought about the position a little more before accepting.
