Pros

Finally, after losing their way as a brand, DBI is changing their product, policies, and brand representation online. It's just a shame that it took so long to get to this point.

Cons

Unless you're one of the lucky people working on projects or functions that are exciting and sexy to members of the board, you will get left behind - even if you are overseeing particularly valuable core functions, channels, or projects. I got to the point where I began to feel like a piece of furniture and not a person. It was demoralizing. I began to question my value and it really got to me. The culture is toxic from the top-down (although that has been slowly changing only over the last few months), competitive rather than supportive, information hoarding rather than information sharing, and demoralizing to people willing to put in so much hard work and provide expert-level experience. If you want to get ahead in this organization, you have jump in front of others and shove them out of the way. Also, your corporate offices are extremely bleak and outdated.

Pros

During peak season, a lot of hours, a manageable workload, and decent compensation.

Cons

Management is a bit hot or cold. A lot of aspects of the role are not always detailed when you first start.
