Pros

Relationships I built with the customers and people I worked with.

Cons

It was the most toxic work environment I have ever encountered in all my years of retail. The store was underperforming and understaffed due to this. The only time my DM reached out was to tell us how terrible we were doing. I attempted to voice some of my concerns with him before looking for another job-he ignored my request and avoided me for months after. I considered reaching out to Human Resources, but by this point I knew confidentiality would be non-existent. I feared retaliation and the open door policy was non-existent. There were inappropriate relationships in the store amongst other things. This made having a positive work environment impossible. I felt it best to just find another job and get out without putting up a fuss. This company treats their external customer better than their internal customer-shame on you. If you treat your people right, they will inturn treat your customers right. This organization has much to learn on how to treat their people. Until they realize this-they will remain in the red and probably file for bankruptcy again.
