Pros
Genuinely is a great place to work.
- Staff - The people you work with are second to none, don't have any negatives, since day one the people have been amazing.
- Work - The work is there and there is plenty of it, however there is no push to be working your fingers to the bone everyday. Very comfortable work balance.
- Engagement - Managers are engaging/helpful and there doesn't seem to be any egos knocking about, there is plenty of charitable work going on and its rare that your weeks work seems like just a week of work.
- Management - Got no bad words to say about the management system in place at crystal, everyone is open and forthcoming, within your first week of starting at crystal you have a meeting with the CEO Tony which is a great change from previous employers ... a CEO who cares and wants to know the little guys.
Development and ingenuity - Having ideas is not frowned on by any level of management, if you have an idea it will get pushed forward and its warmly welcomed. Currently the development is a little lapsed but there is discussions for the future.
Pay - The pay is ok, its not a huge wage but is in keeping with the market (but it would be nice if it was more :) )
Hours - The hours are incredibly flexible, its almost impossible to be late to work which is a great relief for when you are stuck in traffic etc.
Benefits - Company benefits such as medical cover etc is at quite a high tier even at an early tenure.
Annual leave - Get a good amount of leave + B/H + birthday + Xmas off. Whats not to love?
Overall - Probably the best place I've ever worked, oh and the best bit of all ... the boss brings his dog to work (who only likes you if you have food).
Cons
Only downside I can see to working here is that the pay could be more (but then pay can always be more.)
