Pros

Remote work, unlimited PTO, met some great people, decent pay, flexible on travel and accommodations for unexpected events.

Cons

I would like to preface this with the review coming from a specific business area, which I will not say due to fear of repercussions and harassment from current management. Firstly, the amount of lies is impeccable. The entire Business Unit is built upon a pyramid of poorly thought out lies, with leadership selling work that is not even needed or requested by the client often “guilting” the client into purchasing it. For example, sections which leadership does not wholly understand are presented to clients as “up-to-date” and “evolving” areas, yet are referencing resources from 2018 or settings in services that have not existed since 10 updates ago. Additionally, countless times leadership has clearly not known basic concepts noted in the work and left it up to staff to figure out. In addition to this, there have been no reviews of work and oftentimes controls are deleted/removed by management to “get the projects out the door” and “speed things up”. Management has also been known to direct staff to make up (lie) on controls so that they pass so that the client is happy or so that follow up evidence is not needed. Since September 2023 - the date of this post, 8 senior staff, who were considered leaders by the staff, left due to these reasons. Overall, I would avoid Crowe. Many team members have serious mental issues now due to these events and consistent disrespect from management.

Pros

As a working parent there is a ton of flexibility and understanding for my needs at home. This has enabled me to work through busy seasons without a ton of extra stress.

Cons

Recent return to office mandates are hard for employees who were hired on remote and don’t live near an office.
