Pros
Great investment in systems and processes. The management does take a longer-term view and willing to invest in systems. Good pay and benefits. I really liked the employee stock purchase plan (15% discount), 401k match (6%), summer hours (most leave office by 1 or 2 on Fridays during the summer months), charity contribution match, volunteer day, competitive pay and bonus as well as generous options at the higher level. Great people and the company really encourages employees to be involved with the local community. It was great to work for a company that is involved day-to-day in helping to drive a positive patient outcome.
Cons
Pressure to drive down manufacturing cost by closing plants in the U.S. Very marketing and sales focused. R&D at certain pockets of the organization seems to struggle with innovation.
