Pros

- Great people to work with - upper management are go getters - commission can be big if you play your cards right - senior people once in a while will throw junior sales people some hot leads - office location right at washingston/wells loop - company pays and flies you to Toronto for office parties - had our annual 2024 sales conference in vegas, stayed at caesar's. it was great, all expenses paid for, got to meet everyone - great sales tools - direct managers actually work with you to try and develop your and steer you on the right path - highly competitive - mark frey ceo seems like a boss, hes smart - junior sales people are typically in their mid to late 20s and most of them are attractive lol

Cons

- Chicago office was horrible: only 1 other person in there, no natural light, no wifi, always freezing cold - pay was $50k usd until novemver 2023 when it was bumped to $60k, hard to do that salary living in Chicago while making negligible commission - deep financial knowledge is required, like interest rate policy and news, chart analysis, geopolitical awareness, etc. if you dont know who jerome powell is before the interview, you wont be ready - basically fully remote with very little senior support out of the chicago office - corporate fx is a very niche industry, most companies and c-suite executives arent aware of fx and/or dont really about it. the ones that do are usually very reluctant to move away from their current provider which is typically their banks - we cant work with clients under $5m/year of fx transfer which feels like the vast majority of companies youre calling on
