Pros
Ann took over a struggling company with a lack of foundational business focus for success and I believe her and her direct team is on the right path to building a successful company. Profitability is turning the corner. IT leadership is now in place that understands strategy and road mapping and is working to consolidate systems and bring best in breed to the company. Financial leadership is now in place focused on and driving to the bottom line and not driving to how many companies can we acquire to be the biggest. I am confident that in 5 years under Ann and team's leadership this will be a stronger company.
Cons
There are plenty of managers, but very few leaders. Managers, including all levels to EVP, like to use the Values and Beliefs (Vs & Bs) as a whipping post or a rally cry. They quote the Vs & Bs when they want someone else to do work, but they do not live by them. They portray the image that the Vs & Bs do not apply to them. Toxic managers who manage through intimidation and bullying. Unfortunately, their actions are condoned by their managers and therefore goes completely unchecked. Managers do not listen to colleagues or others, they only have "their" way of doing things. Way too many chefs.
