Pros
- Great colleagues. Lots of knowledgeable people here and real experts. - Ratio of nice-people-who-actually-know-what-their-doing over lazy-bums-and-know-it-all's is high. -> this is actually really great compared to other companies. - Balanced work load. (meaning, sometimes you have to work a lot, sometimes you slack a lot) - Overseas trip opportunity for the lucky teams. - Job security is pretty good... for the permanent employees. - Company is pretty huge and known in Europe. - Maybe a good starting point for new bloods - Great place to learn old tools.... OLD Tools. - We all want higher salaries but we are not underpaid, maybe just below industry average. (pro for me, you decide) - Some people think the policies are strict and unreasonable but they probably haven't seen worse. Its quite laid-back. - The building is nice and big and carpeted - Perfect for the mundane and the content
Cons
- Very late to adapt to new technologies - Process can be improved. A lot of redundancy. (almost archaic) - Some teams are lucky some aren't. - Very late to adapt to new technologies. This deserves another mention. - You need to know how to motivate yourself and give yourself something to look forward to. - Young employees might want more than the company has to offer. If you want action packed software, you'll probably be disappointed. - No we don't develop self driving cars. - No our technology is not advanced. See previous comments. - Food is far. - The toilets are horrible.
