Pros

Decent salary for new graduates. Variable compensation up to 12% of your fixed annual salary. Flexible schedule. Good life/work balance if you know how to say no. You will not get fired for saying no. Good as a first job, but I recommend hopping after a year as you will stagnate.

Cons

Bad career and salary progression. Expect very small raises (<3%), unless you move to another position, and even then they are not that good. Their justification for not paying more is because they claim we are an bubble in the software industry. Bad benefits for a IT/Software company: * Optional health insurance is not fully paid by the company(yes you have to pay a percentage) * Tire "discount" is used as bait during the job offer. The internal base price essentially negates the 53% discount they have. You will save ~5€ per tire when compared to "street" price Contract forces you to pay part of the training if you leave before 3 years. Before doing useless external training, ask the price and the contents. They say the probability of people leaving decreases after 3 years. Upper management from Germany is constantly reminding that Portugal and Mexico are "Best Cost".

Pros

Great work life balance and culture. If you want to work at a place that will provide a low stress, flexible position with amazing people, this place is no doubt one of the best in that area.

Cons

Pay is low compared to other companies in the area and the cost of living in the area is high. They seem to be outsourcing jobs to cut costs, so job security is not the best right now.
