Pros

Start-up like culture and agile environment, sharp focus on quick business impact, staying afloat and surviving the split from Xerox.

Cons

Very uncertain environment at this time of transition. Conduent is yet to discover its core principles, culture and values. Just getting started on its diversity journey at global level (much work needed in India). Actively discouraging research talent by coming down hard on banning representation at any external events including scientific/academic conferences which are the bread and butter for us. Hopefully this is temporary, but needs to change. There's also currently a salary freeze, so, performance-based annual increments are not happening. This is mostly to be expected from a company that's getting started, but I wish it would restore normalcy asap. There's also a lot of workforce reduction and people quitting, resulting in overburden of folks who are sticking around. Overworked and underpaid is not at all a sustainable situation! Not for the employee, not for the company, not for its clients.

Pros

Work from home , convenient

Cons

The way they fire you for no reason; and than block you from emailing them, messaging them or anything without warning! I worked there for 2 years and I had asked to switch supervisors , because the new one I had was very rude and put down everyone. Well the week after I asked to be moved; shelve wrote me up 3 times in one week, which is cause for termination. One of the writeups was because she said I should have offered a customer an email at the end of the call! They are scandalous and I would not recommend to anyone to work for them. If the client: who’s name starts with an A and ends in with E… should not tolerate they way they are representing them!
