Pros

Healthcare was decent and nice to have.

Cons

From day one, management provided zero guidance on job responsibilities and tasks. Even after repeated follow-ups, management kept pushing responsibilities to another day, and after a week, they were abandoned or forgotten. There is no leadership from upper management, and all they care about is creating an illusion that they are succeeding to their Director. The Executive Chef does not care about food quality and does not even have recipe books for the food they provide to students; they randomly improvise recipes and serve food that looks and tastes horrible. I doubt if the chef even knows how to make roasted potatoes, but be assured, he excels at verbal/written warnings, belittling you, gas-lighting, and watching your every move on the cameras from his office or his home. They just secured a long-term contract, and I pray that they find a management team that cares for the food and their staff, because the students there deserve better. They are hiring friends and creating a clique that keeps you out. Even when called to meetings, they would discuss things in Spanish and keep you out and talk behind your back. If you're not a Nepo hire, don't bother. If you like incompetency and inaction, if you like being asked for money by your boss, if you like knowing that NONE of your concerns will be dealt with, and if you like feeling like you're walking on eggshells every day of work, this is the place for you.

Pros

Hybrid Schedule. Free food and drinks in office.

Cons

High performers expected to make up for low performers. Pay is below market. Cliquey environment. Bottlenecked at close with extremely long hours. Internally promotes because they would not attract external talent at their compensation package. Management doesn't address employee concerns.
