Facilities - Anonymous employee Compass Group USA Employee Review

My position is a low hourly wage job with very little wage increase. This is discerning since the company at least grossed in 17 billion dollars last year and it can't seem to give its employees a significant increase in pay and they work you to the bone. Advancement opportunities seem to be promoted for internal employees or at least thats what they want you to believe. I personally went on many interviews for manager in training for food service, a career path I was interested in. In the end they always chose a candidate from outside the company. I was very disappointed by this.
