      I found mentor that are really passionate and also allow you to do what your interested.

      Cons

      The hiring process can be hard and slow, esp if you not a student. There is a hiring freeze right now. they are pretty stingy.

      My job with the Columbia Population Research Center is fully remote, which is a great perk. I can also create my own schedule and work any day of the week.

      The pay could be better.
