Pros

Coloplast is adding more and more ways for their employees to grow and develop. For new managers they invest heavily and send them to a week long leadership program at headquarters in Denmark. It's nice to see a company that recognizes it's internal talent. The benefits package is great with good health/dental/401k and above average PTO. Work/life balance is definitely achievable. There is also a lot of room to learn new skills at Coloplast. The company tends to run lean which in some instances can be frustrating, but it opens a lot of opportunities to learn tasks outside your specific role. The company appreciates employees who bring forward new ideas. The company truly stands behind their mission- to make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. It's great working for a company whose products are extremely innovative and really make a difference for those who use them.

Cons

As stated above, the Coloplast does run lean in many departments which can sometimes slow things down or you end up figuring things out on your own. As a subsidiary, it can sometimes feel like upper management at HQ doesn't fully understand the needs of the US market. The current systems aren't efficient for the business needs, but they are planning to do some system changes/upgrades in the next year.

Pros

They don’t micromanage, supervisors are always willing to help.

Cons

QA is an absolute mess, and they refuse to see the issue which affects everyone’s monthly bonus. If you value your mental health don’t work here, they will constantly talk to you about your “brand” or how you are being perceived if you speak up too much for their taste. They will ask for feedback but never address any issues. Your confidence will be tarnish when you work your butt off and your QA scores are always low, even people that are top tier and leaders within the dept can’t even get decent scores. Unless you are able to be hired by another dept, which that in itself is hard, you have nowhere to go, basically they “promote” you by doing the same job with more pay that comes with extra set of responsibilities while also having to meet your metrics because if not, no bonus.
