Pros

Great environment to work in. Financially sound and stable. Mentorship development Great work-life balance and opportunity for advancement. Cross team/department collaboration. The Executive Briefing Center has a powerful message and efficient process to obtain/close and retain customers through a diligent carefully planned out experience.

Cons

Passive agressive Human Resources Department Outdated policies for employees Stressful expectations with little reward. The location of the main office is not very thought out. In the middle of no where. Long drive for new/existing clients. It's a very long commute for employees who are not in the DTC. Inability to uphold their work/life balance through demonstration. They say they want you have a balance but when you actually have one then they revert to outdated and poorly managed processes that make you feel like you need to have a life or death excuse to take time off.

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
