      Pros

      Company takes care of employees well with good benefits and compensation. People having long term plan can stick with company. Lots of projects keeps you busy with career and interesting working environment and flexible colleagues at much needed times.

      Cons

      Managers don't have technical knowledge. Be prepared to spend hrs to explain them about the issues, resolutions and precautions. Management sometimes does not have good workflow. Also, be prepared to work round the clock.

      Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
