      Pros

      Meeting people from all over the world. If it wasn't for the guest, I wouldn't have stuck around as long.

      Cons

      Much responsibility for a minimum wage position. I currently work for Comfort Suites which has 80+ suites. I've been employed with them for over 3 years and the only reason why I made it to $10 hr is because I was promoted to a front desk manager. I fully dedicated myself to the company and raises are just a floating idea. If you have a family, don't waste your time. You will be overworked and underpaid.

      WFH was great and having to drive in traffic to be in meetings all day, not fun.

      Pros

      Great learning experience and the team was super kind for someone just starting out and learning. I was trusted and they allowed me to grow as an intern. Pay was also fair and the schedule was flexible.

      The experience was only positive.
