There is no potential for growth or recognition for hard work. If you are fortunate enough to have a good supervisor, it may be a tolerable atmosphere to work. Given that it has taken them a long time (think 1-2 decades) to climb up the "ladder" in the school, the management is downright toxic. They have no consideration for employees or their well-being.
