Business Outlook
Pros
Great kids, a stable job if you can stomach the pay and culture
Cons
A business—profit is always first, don’t be fooled when they tell you they handpick their students or that all kids are coming in at the same level, longtime managers are lazy, blame others for their shortcomings, but are happy to take credit for everything their teachers do, pay for new teachers VERY low—unless you come in with significant experience, you’ll be making 1/2-3/4 of what charters/public schools pay, massive workload, large class sizes, no career growth unless you’re willing to make your job your life
