Pros
Incredible co-workers, decent PTO if approved
Cons
For 9 years loved my job for the most part, bumps and all. New CEO and the wheels fall off. PHCO is filled with LOTS of hateful, condescending and plain abusive supervisors, mangers and VP’s (colleague told “if you don’t like it here you should probably leave”). There is no loyalty to employees, only to money. Corporate level management is a plenty and they make up titles in order to create another corporate position. They stripped the actual workers of bonuses but management and above still get theirs. They lie to employees on the regular and promote toxic management. Sneaky, “silent guidelines” to keep members from getting services. The “guidelines” are the reason for decreased services but not listed as the reason because they know they cannot be transparent to providers. Constant changes that make no sense, like UM to RS, but they don’t bother to train the RS staff and then layoff a huge number of staff in the recent gutting. Expectation to do lots of tasks you don’t get quota credit for (other team’s responsibility), so you cannot meet your daily numbers to impact your yearly review, meaning little to no raise, which is all we have left. Endless shifting of teams, then very little training, no working knowledge of my market, expectations to meet arbitrary quotas immediately and there will ALWAYS be retribution, nothing is anonymous. Good ethical UM’s are treated like trash, blaimed for management failures and cherry-picking employees who wouldn’t know what being a team member was like if their life depended on it. They have their own interests in mind, are seen as “productive” and are not held to the same standards. The employee morale is at the lowest level I have ever seen…and they couldn’t care less.
