Pros

The overtime pay and vacation time.

Cons

OVERWORK. Always working on the weekends and everyone has to be available for on-call. Never had a personal and family since I worked there. I never had time to go to any appointments because I was so tired. You can be working from 8hrs and suddenly to 14hours or suddenly work for 2 shifts. The department never has enough staff to even switch. I was extremely burned out. There’s only 2 shifts (morning and night), but we’re supposed to have 3 with the last one being the graveyard (overnight) shift. The morning shift always leaves exactly 8 hours, while night shift (my shift) works over. The work culture is awful for this position. Noone and I MEAN NOONE cares if you’re tired and overwork. And no matter how hard you tried to be nice and stocks everything and give every material and supplies needed. They will ALWAYS TREAT POORLY. They even purposely make a mess and drop things for no reason and not be cautious about anything. Manufacturing and QA are the always blaming on our department, but once we have evidences that it isn’t our fault, they turned a blind eye. Never work as a Tech Service Technician or in any position in Central Service. People will never respect you.

Pros

The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive, which has made it easy to learn and feel comfortable asking questions. There is a strong focus on training and collaboration, helping me feel safe, well prepared, and confident in my role. I also appreciate the benefits, which support a good work-life balance.

Cons

One area for improvement is the flexibility for new employees regarding remote work hours.

Pros

Adequate amount of PTO and suitable medical benefits and 401K. Co-workers were helpful and good resources when needed.

Cons

Difficult to receive promotions, as site GM, HR, and Global have to approve. No/very small annual increases. Departments need to hire additional support; again, difficult to get management and global to approve, thus a lot of turnover. Site directors/managers had conflicts between departments. Some would intentionally undermine other department heads if it suited their interest. Two directors have personal relationship, which seems to be conflict of interest.
