Pros

Some fantastic people work at Catalent. Most of them are leaving though due to horrible policies and culture. My paycheck has never bounced.

Cons

Horrible top down, micromanagement culture. Clueless leaders who do not care about their people. Toxic behaviors from "leadership" including severe retaliation for anything and everything they view as a threat. If you're a good employee, you'll be swamped with more and more work. The company is losing great employees every day. The CEO is a bully and NEVER takes responsibility for his mistakes. Terrible pay, well below the rest of the CDMO industry. They say they have a "patient first" culture but that could not be further from the truth. The company is happy to take their clients money but ALWAYS executes poorly which is why the reputation is so horrible (check the news to see what I mean. Cat hair!!). Layoffs are constant and you'll be expected to do the job of 3-5 people.

Pros

The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive, which has made it easy to learn and feel comfortable asking questions. There is a strong focus on training and collaboration, helping me feel safe, well prepared, and confident in my role. I also appreciate the benefits, which support a good work-life balance.

Cons

One area for improvement is the flexibility for new employees regarding remote work hours.

Pros

Adequate amount of PTO and suitable medical benefits and 401K. Co-workers were helpful and good resources when needed.

Cons

Difficult to receive promotions, as site GM, HR, and Global have to approve. No/very small annual increases. Departments need to hire additional support; again, difficult to get management and global to approve, thus a lot of turnover. Site directors/managers had conflicts between departments. Some would intentionally undermine other department heads if it suited their interest. Two directors have personal relationship, which seems to be conflict of interest.
