Pros

A very strong and dedicated workforce. Most of their long term employees were educated and developed by the original Eastman Kodak Company which truly did invest in their employees.

Cons

It wouldn't be possible to list them all here. For those of you who may be deciding whether or not to apply for or accept a position at Carestream should know that they operate under management practices that were tested out (and failed) at other companies years ago. For example, Carestream uses performance management processes that companies like GE abandoned years ago because it backfired on them causing them to loose their top talent and retain their low end employees. For nearly a decade now Carestream has continued to operate like that, actually thinking that this is a good modern method to motivate employees. All that really is going on is managing people through fear and intimidation. Those who are marketable elsewhere are already gone or are in the process of moving on.
