If you're coming straight out of college, this isn't the right place for you to start your career. You will be placed in a client-facing role directly, regardless of whether you have any prior experience in the role or not.
There's no manager/ senior person from Capgemini to guide you and you are expected to fulfil your client's requirements right from the first day you have been assigned to a client.
If the client doesn't like your work/gives a negative feedback, you'll be fired by Capgemini regardless of whether you've tried your best or not.
That was my story at Capgemini. Also, if you are being assigned to a 'Performance Improvement Program', which they claim is for mentoring/ helping you to improve your performance on a weekly basis for a month, consider it as a signal to search for a new job as they will fire you at the end of the program anyway, regardless of whether you've made any improvement during the program or not.
