Pros

Great location, out of the city with good scenery and close to a river. Great library facilities with lots of books and electronic media for learning.

Cons

Insensitive management since Kanbay was taken over by Capgemini. Dependency on some key clients and not many new big accounts/clients (requiring at least 100 or more resources) added in the past several years. HSBC and RBS ramped down drastically this year and thousands came on bench with no option available. Shoddy food court with not so clean facilities. Old workplace which required a lot of maintenance at many places. Not so competitive salaries. No or meagre annual increments. Not so efficient performance management system where at times no feedback is given at the end of the year but it is recorded in the system. No recognition to old employees. Employees working at captive center clients left on their own reminding old days of body shopping.

Pros

Pretty flexible. It's cool if you get on a project with a good client, because honestly you will become like a low-class employee at that company who they all dont care about and expect you not to be around very long so if you can deal with that then you can try and have a good time with them.

Cons

Honestly can't believe the audacity and entitlement of the middle management at this place. For example, last year everybody got about 3% merit raises (not at all keeping up with inflation but still something). This year, they were working with the same pool of funds to work with for raises, but made a "business decision" to consolidate the raises to only management. The rest of us got nothing. And the TOLD us they kept everything for themselves. And in addition to that, they twisted the knife by COMPLAINING to the whole department on a department call that their bonuses weren't enough. Just tone-deaf and careless mostly.
