Pros

Great at recruiting you to come to work for them. Lots of promises.

Cons

I was a Center Manager in Northern California. I had an accident (not work related) which resulted ina broken neck. During my rehab at home (in a halo) for 6 months, I never received one phone call, never got a "get well" card, or never received one email inquiring about my health. Upon requesting to come back to work after I recovered I was told I would no longer be a Center Manager, and was offered a Service Advisor position at a 50% pay reduction. I had no choice but to accept the position; my State disability was running out and I had incurred a large medical debt. I had no choice but to accept the position. I stayed on as a Service Advisor for 4 months, but left for a better paying job to support my family. While rehabbing I received over 300 well wishes from my former employer Service King. This is a true story. Caliber just doesn't care about people. Good Manager or not, nobody deserves to be treated in that manner. If you work for Caliber, better hope nothing bad ever happens to you.

Pros

Benefits are good. Some effort for consistency. I like staying busy and there is almost always something to do. Some people are nice.

Cons

I really wanted to like this company. It’s very corporate. It’s very involved. There is a lot of micromanagement. People really do act like they’re your friends and they are absolutely not. It’s hard to work somewhere for so much of your time where you truly can’t let your guard down or get too close. Everyone talks between shops, centers, regions, etc. There’s a lot of gossip throughout the company and even if you don’t think it goes somewhere, it does. It doesn’t matter if you are good at your job or a good person because they don’t care about that here. You can be entirely awful to people here and keep your job for years! I suppose that con is actually a pro because it makes it very difficult for someone to actually get fired from this company.
