Pros
If you get to work at a clinic near your home. If 30 hours was full-time, but that changed due to their needs. Working 11-12 hours a day. Cleaning, mopping, preparing deposit, paperwork, mailing, checking bathrooms,Kiosk and waiting areas. Do not have to deal with other staff, insurance companies, other facilities.
Cons
Management constantly changing, PA's managing NP's, unethical managers. Requirements, hours, not allowing as hourly employees to clock in until few minutes opening despite opening requirements, clocking out late requirements. Focus is all on metrics, how many, how fast, etc., Per diem pays less than full-time despite no benefits & have to work all/far clinics despite clinic 1 mile from your home. No consistent evaluations. Turnover. No provider input on the clinics physical exterior or interiors, or anything else.
