      CHS is a good company to work with. Several opportunities, good structure, good approach to HR and good salaries and benefits when compared to companies in the mid-west.

      Cons

      Not a lot of career planning structure. You gotta be ready to advocate for yourself and plan your next moves.

      A mixed bag of remote versus hybrid positions.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
