      the compensation was fair and competitive. Many employees had been at CHS for 20+ years.

      Cons

      Aggressive sales tactics. The company does not truly care about the farmers that own it. It's owned by shareholders, same as every other public company.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
