Work-life balance flexibility Unique projects Technical experts PTO - 27 days after 10 years Professional trust of staff - face-time isn't as important as results OT paid (straight time) when over 80 hours of client-chargeable time in single pay period (no OT for overhead time)
Cons
Stingy with training No generic overhead number - not really salaried. Have to take PTO to fill out timesheet if not enough project numbers available Drifting to program management focus rather than design focus Constant restructuring of business "Bean-counters" are penny-wise and pound foolish Losing the CH2M HILL culture
