Pros

If you can get on a good team doing some good deals, it is a good way to build up your resume. You can build some good skills. Project management seems to be a safe department.

Cons

Not sure who is submitting positive reviews of the company... anybody I know who is there or has left was not a fan of it. Head management does not care about you, only what the brokers produce. If you bring up any issues regarding harassment (all kinds), hostility, or abuse you will be dismissed. Because the industry runs on nepotism, if you do not come from a prominent family you will not be favourited, heard, or advanced. The environment itself it very toxic, normalizing sexist, awful behavior and because everybody is forced to normalize it to survive, you will too. It is like Mad Men era abuse, Me Too movement did not impact the culture - anything 'woke' posted publicly is just a PR stunt designed to help silence you and exempt them from future liabilities. I highly advise to not join this company if you are a woman, a young professional, or especially a young vulnerable woman as in all of those categories you will get chastised, manipulated, and taken advantage of. If you report it, it will get covered up. If you are employed there, take your experience and get paid more elsewhere or in the tech industry. Make sure to save everything in writing.

Pros

Honestly? Not much. The vision insurance was decent, I guess. Truthfully though, there wasn't much.

Cons

Management's refusal to allow employees freedom. I routinely got praise from the client and hit the maximum score on my goals. If things weren't done "by the book", they were wrong. The health insurance was awful. Going to self-employment, one of the things that you hear is that you're going to pay a lot for health insurance. However, I'm actually paying LESS than when I worked for CBRE. When you work for CBRE, don't consider job security something that you're going to have. I saw two employees with 15+ years for the company get laid off, with zero severance and no option to transfer elsewhere, unless they wanted to uproot their families and move states for more work and a pay cut. This is the worst company that I've ever had the displeasure to work for. If you have literally any other option of employment, please consider doing that.
