Pros
It was very enjoyable when I was first hired. I worked about twenty hours a week while I was in school and the hours were according to my availability. The pay isn't horrible for the work you're doing, and if everyone is doing their job the work flow is smooth and simple. There are moments where the work is fast paced, which I found enjoyable. The most satisfying part of working at Burger King was challenging myself to see how quick I could assemble orders and maintain the kitchen area by myself if another employee was busy getting ingredients or grilling meat. I enjoyed how easy it was to comprehend my working environment and the processes that you have to go through to correctly maintain the job area. The hiring manager was very nice and understanding.
Cons
Quickly my hours were cut to ten or less and my schedule was constantly pushed and moved around to other employees without notice. Any contributions of extra effort, going above and beyond, or leadership were meaningless (in my case) as it went unnoticed. If you dont fit in with co-workers or don't have a sweet spot with managers don't expect anything better than where you are now.
