Pros

You will get a LOT of experience in your field, and often inter-disciplinary experience. You will work with incredibly smart and diverse people who are eager to share their knowledge. Entry level employees are often exposed to material beyond their experience level with helps them to grow faster in their careers. Global company with many opportunities to travel and learn about other cultures. Products and services are very interesting to learn about and the company wants all employees, regardless of their function, to be familiar with their business. Salaries tend to be higher.

Cons

At this company you often have to do "more with less" .A lot of long hours. There are zero flexible work arrangements and you are expected to be in your chair at all times. Leaving on time means that you are leaving early. At this company you often have to do "more with less" . Not many opportunities for growth unless you are willing to relocate, often internationally.

Pros

Good starting salaries Good coworkers Headquarters in St. Louis is awesome

Cons

Working in HR, I see A LOT of entitlement from senior leaders. The COO is so rude to employees. CHRO sits one floor above the HR department, and I’ve only seen her on our floor one time in 3 years. The overall perception of her within HR is not a positive one. She’s very cold and impersonal - not sure if she’s human. Morale is at an all-time low. Everyone is waiting to see who will be laid off next. Starting salaries are good but comp progression year over year is laughable for anyone below director level. The company nearly doubled in size since acquiring Viterra in 2025, but business services functions like HR keeps getting hit with layoffs, so workload has doubled while teams have been cut in half.
