Pros

Excellent PTO benefits Senior management walks the talk Workplace environment Work/life balance (Nashville and ATC only)

Cons

Pay - you pay almost everyone below the average ranges for the job spec. By a lot! Quit making up positions just to promote someone. Bridgestone has way too much middle and upper management Please reduce organizational changes to at least once every 2 years. Seriously for 4 years I had no idea who was in charge of what. Stop working on creating a system designed to improve people’s careers and actually invest in your teammates. The AMP program is just another “carrot” that will get dangled and removed in about 18 months I’ll say this again and again, the pay here is absolutely horrible. Almost everyone that left around the same time as me left for the same reasons - terrible pay

Pros

Stable work - buses on the road every day, so tire service tends to be more predictable than some other retail work. Mechanical experience - You'll gain experience with heavy-duty vehicles, commercial tires, fleet operations, safety procedures, and potentially CDL-related skills. Physically demanding - Frequent lifting of tires, pushing heavy equipment, bending, kneeling, and working around large vehicles are regular parts of the job.

Cons

Repetitive labor - Much of the work involves mounting, balancing, and repairing large tires repeatedly throughout a shift. Safety risks - Working with heavy commercial tires and transit vehicles requires strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
