Pros

*Fortune 500 *Bonus Program *CEO (Paolo is moving them forward) *Tire Perks *Ticket Perks locally *Evolution of business from tires to mobility *Some really inspiring leaders in some BUs *Response to the pandemic

Cons

*401k Vesting ( 3 Years + Low Match + Lack of transparent info) *New at DEI (behind the times + lack of social voice) *Siloed (in BUs and in HR despite centralizing the org over 8 years ago) *Relationship Based Careers (Value Charisma over Competence + inconsistent in interview process) *Management Competence (know management before you join management or you'll struggle with learning it- few management resources as focus is on leadership. this overwhelms management) *Nashville Employer of Choice versus National Employer of Choice (losing the recruiting war to remote company opportunities) *Underpay HR *Change (Value culture fit over culture add or new ideas; so if you want to go with the flow and not add your mark this is the place for you) *High School Vibes (if you miss the days of gossip, passive aggression or the cool kids table and are comfortable working your way to it through this is the place for you) *Exclusive (if you enjoy keeping outsiders out, those who refer to the past, instead of those who use inclusion of ideas, new hires, and others then this is the place for you) *HR Legacy (if you love seeing those who've been there the longest get promoted and recognized this is the place for you)

Pros

Stable work - buses on the road every day, so tire service tends to be more predictable than some other retail work. Mechanical experience - You'll gain experience with heavy-duty vehicles, commercial tires, fleet operations, safety procedures, and potentially CDL-related skills. Physically demanding - Frequent lifting of tires, pushing heavy equipment, bending, kneeling, and working around large vehicles are regular parts of the job.

Cons

Repetitive labor - Much of the work involves mounting, balancing, and repairing large tires repeatedly throughout a shift. Safety risks - Working with heavy commercial tires and transit vehicles requires strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
