      Pros

      Some solid benefits and a good work life balance. Overstock does great at mentoring developers and turning them into all stars.

      Cons

      Not so great at keeping the talent they fostered once the devs are ready for more senior roles. People struggle to get paid their worth once they qualify for more senior positions and find jobs elsewhere. ( I haven’t seen people leaving during the pandemic but I’m sure it will continue once this is over)

      Pros

      Coworkers are my main reason for coming back daily, I'd hate to let them down.

      Cons

      Toxic ceo is more focused on being confrontational than productive. The consensus in his town hall meetings is to 'keep your head down, avoid direct eye contact, do not ask questions'. He's focusing on building the upper management team while regular layoffs of people who actually do the heavy lifting is reducing our actual output.
