Pros

Good idea, with someone else in charge it might actually work.

Cons

Belong has done a great job mentally and emotionally destroying their employees to the point of mental breakdowns. For a company that focuses so much on experience with their customers they have the opposite goal internally. The executive team is disorganized and lacks any strategy to build the company infrastructure for growth. All of their focus has been on making money at all costs and consistently failing at every turn. Forcing homeowners to leave the platform and often times creating so much turmoil for residents that lawsuits are a normal thing. All of this blame is put on the CSM team who is just trying to keep their head above water. Accountability for company performance is a joke. The CEO will scream and yell at an employee in person or in public forums. It is an open secret that he is desperate to succeed at all costs to avoid another company failure as he has experienced in the past. This makes him unpredictable, emotional, and a terrible leader. Shocked the investor’s backing Belong still trust him with the amount of money they already have invested with such poor results. Everyone makes mistakes but this is a big one! I pray the people still at Belong can find a new career path quick because it will not happen at Belong. All it takes is a simple search for public reviews by their customers or employees to tell you all you need to know about this failing great idea.

Pros

The workload stays manageable most days, and the team is easy to work with when things get hectic. I like that managers usually trust employees to handle resident communication without constantly checking every little thing. The training process is straightforward, especially for learning systems and lease paperwork. Coworkers are supportive and willing to help when schedules get packed. Pay and benefits are okay, and the environment stays professional.

Cons

Some weekends can get pretty busy

Pros

The company has unbelievably high standards and thinks far to highly of itself. Not even sure that counts as a pro. But if you somehow get hired, it means you managed to survived the absurd expectations. So I guess that says something.

Cons

- Management keeps insisting this is not a call center role, but that is completely laughable because it absolutely is! - Honestly, it is even worse than working at a call center! - The workload is far more demanding, far more exhausting, and requires much more than simply answering calls and giving responses! - Every interaction becomes another urgent problem dumped on you that needs immediate action! - You are expected to move nonstop, think nonstop, react nonstop, and survive under constant crushing pressure every second of the day! - The pace is so outrageously intense that you completely lose track of time and everything happening around you. - By the time shifts finally ends, your mind and body feel completely wiped out and you suddenly realize just how severely exhausted you actually are!!
