Pros

BBW is pretty gracious to their employees. Instead of a Christmas bonus, we got free products. It could be anything from a pocket size hand sanitizer and holder to a full size lotion or body wash. For Valentine's Day, they would give us free men's products. Every once in a while, they had a "here is a free product just for working here!" I loved my co-workers and supervisors. Everybody was more or less on the same page about what had to get done and who had to do it.

Cons

At my store in particular, the supervisors are not too strict about dress code, and that got some employees confused. There was some drama in a few conversations between my co-workers from time to time regarding a certain supervisor and what was said about the dress code.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
